▇ Features and Uses
This is the typical representative of hindered phenolic antioxidants. Its color is changeless. It causes no
pollution. It is not easy to get aged by hot oxygen, and it is not easy to be extracted from hot water. It is insoluble and its effect is long lasting. It also secures a great heat stability. It is particularly applied to products used at a high temperature and products capable of being extracted. It has a marked effect on polypropylene. It is also applied to polyethylene, polyamide, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, ABS resin, PBT resin, nylon, synthetic rubber and petroleum products to guarantee their thermoforming and to prolong their endurance. It is one of the best antioxidants available now. General dosage is 0.1%-0.5%.
